- Disneyland Resort Hotels -

The Disneyland Resort hotels consist of three different hotels that are all located right on Disney property. They consist of one moderate resort and two deluxe resorts. Moderate means the hotel will normally be priced around $150+/night. Deluxe means the hotel will normally be priced around $350+/night. Unlike Walt Disney World, there are no value resorts present, however you can stay at good neighbor hotels that can be priced around $99+/night.

(We were supposed to be welcoming in a new deluxe hotel to our resort, but the city of Anaheim has now halted plans due to a tax issue. For more information, please head over to News & Updates or search in the search bar at the top of the page).

paradise pier hotel

The Paradise Pier Hotel is the cheaper of the hotels on property being the one moderate resort. It includes a pool with a slide, a rooftop bar that is great for viewing the nightly fireworks.

disneyland hotel

The Disneyland Hotel is the original hotel that was the first hotel of the Disneyland Resort. Don't worry though, it has received many updates since its opening. This is one of the deluxe priced hotels that is located right next to the Paradise Pier Hotel at the very end of the Downtown Disney District. There are a bunch of awesome restaurants and a playful bar for the adults. The pool area received a face-lift a couple years ago and it is the cutest theming.

grand californian

The Grand Californian Hotel is the grandest of them all. It is the most expensive of the deluxe hotels, but let me tell you it is worth every penny. This is the only hotel that has its own entrance to and from the parks (Disney California Adventure Park), which isn't available at any other property. It has a beautiful pool, fine dining, lounge, quick service eatery, and the most luxurious theming that makes you forget you are in a Disney resort and puts you in the middle of the Giant Sequoia Forest that California is known for.

good neighbor hotels

These hotels consist of every non-Disney hotel surrounding the parks (i.e. Hilton, Marriott, Motel 6, etc). Many of these would be classified as value hotels, but sometimes throughout the busy times of the year these resorts can easy go way up in price. These are definitely a good choice if you aren't looking for a hotel with Disney theming, if you want to save a good chunk of change, don't mind the extra walk or drive to the park.
